Territory Management helps organizations structure and manage complex hierarchical selling regions in a single, intuitive workspace. The app centralizes territory navigation, performance insights, team oversight, and record assignment to ensure accurate distribution of accounts, leads, and opportunities. By organizing sales data around a flexible multi-level hierarchy, the solution supports clearer territory ownership, better visibility into KPIs, and more efficient operational processes across the revenue organization.

  • Monitor performance with aggregated KPIs. Analyze rolled-up metrics - such as account counts, pipeline, leads, and opportunities - to assess territory health and support data-driven decisions.

Key Features

Hierarchical Territory Navigation

The application provides a multi-level hierarchy tree with support for up to fifteen levels and unlimited children. Users can fold or unfold nodes and quickly navigate through the structure. Selecting a node displays the corresponding territory and all recursive children on the list page.

Account Assignment and Filtering

The Accounts tab lists all accounts associated with a selected territory and its children. Users can filter records by industry, tier, customer status, and country. Each account displays KPIs such as open pipeline and open opportunities count, along with the assigned territory.

Territory Analytics Dashboard

The Analytics tab presents widgets with aggregated metrics, such as total accounts, assigned accounts, rep territories, unallotted accounts, accounts with open pipeline, open leads, and open opportunities. All analytics reflect the selected node and its hierarchical children and offer drill down for additional details

Territory Information Management

Users can manage territory record details, including name, code, type, owner, and parent. Supported hierarchy types include global region, subregion, region, territory (leaf). The form page provides access to teams, connected accounts, leads, and opportunities, including recursive children.

Manage Connected Records

The application displays all accounts, leads, and opportunities linked to a selected territory, including records assigned to descendant nodes. Users can browse open pipelines, opportunity counts, and related analytics for each record.

Team and Ownership Management

Users can review all employees associated with a territory, add or remove members, and view the contact information of the assigned territory owner. The system indicates which team member owns browsed territory.

Bulk Assignment and Reassignment Flow

A guided process enables bulk assignment of accounts to a new territory. Users can review selected accounts, analyze assignment impact on origin territories, choose a destination territory from the hierarchy, and optionally reassign associated leads and opportunities.

Installation

Setup guide

Installation

  1. Install the add-on from the Creatio Marketplace using the standard “Install” button.

  2. Select the environment where the package will be deployed and confirm installation.

  3. Wait for the installation to complete. After installation, the new “Territories” workspace and related pages become available in the system.

Initial Configuration

  1. Open the Territories section to begin configuring the hierarchy.

  2. Create top-level nodes by defining the required metadata: Name, Code, Type, Owner, and Parent.

  3. Add intermediate and leaf-level territories according to your organizational structure.

  4. Assign employees to each territory from the Team tab.

  5. Configure access permissions if needed. Administrators can limit creation, update, deletion, and bulk assignment operations per role or user.

Account and Record Assignment Setup

  1. Open the Accounts, Leads, or Opportunities sections.

  2. Enable the Territory column or field if it is hidden in the current view.

  3. Assign or reassign records individually using the territory field.

  4. To perform bulk assignment, select one or more accounts and launch the bulk assignment flow.

  5. Follow the multi-step wizard to review selected records, analyze impact, choose a destination territory, and confirm the assignment.

Analytics and KPI Setup

  1. Navigate to the Analytics tab within the Territories section.

  2. Widgets are generated automatically based on available data; no manual configuration is required.

  3. Ensure that accounts, leads, and opportunities have correct territory assignments to populate all dashboards accurately.

Verification

  1. Navigate through the hierarchy to confirm that all nodes display correctly.

  2. Review KPIs for sample territories to ensure that data aggregation behaves as expected.

  3. Validate that employees have the correct permissions for viewing, editing, or executing bulk operations.

Manual app installation

  1. Open the needed app → the Packages tab - download the Markeplace app files.
  2. Click in the top right → Application Hub
  3. Click New application. This opens a window.
  4. Select Install from file and click Select in the window that opens.
  5. Click Select file on the page of the Marketplace App Installation Wizard and specify the app file path.
