Installation

Setup guide

To create characteristics, you need:

  • Register Cases and Services sections to the [Object-specific form page interface in the Freedom and Classic UI shell] lookup (Object codes - Case and ServiceItem).
  • Display the [Cases] and [Services] sections in the classic workplace.
  • Go to [System Designer].
  • Open the [Lookups] section.
  • Find and open the [Characteristics] lookup.
  • Create the characteristic records specifying the required data type.

To fill the service with characteristics:

  • Go to the [Services] section.
  • Open the record of the required [Service].
  • Go to the [Additional parameters] tab.
  • Fill the [Specifications] detail with data. Choose the characteristic from the [Characteristics] lookup, and set the priority of position in case and necessity of the characteristic. Also, you can set a default value for each characteristic.

Manual app installation

  1. Open the needed app → the Packages tab - download the Markeplace app files.
  2. Click in the top right → Application Hub
  3. Click New application. This opens a window.
  4. Select Install from file and click Select in the window that opens.
  5. Click Select file on the page of the Marketplace App Installation Wizard and specify the app file path.
